Favorite moment of the weekend 😍
“When we were at the Jerez airport, there was half a paddock waiting for the flight to Barcelona, including Marc with Alzamora and Santi Hernandez,” Lorenzo recalled. “I was by myself, and I wanted to wait to get on the plane last. The moment I did, and I got on, I saw that my seat number was in the same row as Marc’s. At that point, Santi Hernandez sat between us to act as a barrier, as if we were in the days of Yamaha.” Like Jorge explained, the flight was tension-filled: “The mood was tense and, as soon as we landed, I looked at Marc, and to intimidate him I said: ‘Are you ready for the next race?’ He didn’t answer me.” It didn’t end here: “I know it sounds strange, but I ended up again with Marc in the same row I was sitting in ten days later when we were due to go to France for the Le Mans GP.
