Continued from HEREÂ ( @witchmarnie )
Moments like these sometimes felt nostalgic to Sophie. It’s hard to believe that she was only seven years old when she first found out that a place like Halloweentown existed or that her grandma was a witch and in return, both she and her siblings were witches as well. Seriously, some days it felt like all of this was nothing more than a fever dream and she’ll eventually find herself waking up to the way things use to be— with Grandma Aggie only visiting on Halloween and leaving before the day ends, and their mother still having an adverse against the holiday to the point where she banned all three of her children from even going out trick-or-treating. It’s safe to say that Sophie didn’t miss those days, but at times like this where she found herself walking through Town Square with Marnie, the young witch found it unimaginable that life even use to be that way for them. Being here at Halloweentown was like being home— their true home, even though Sophie did consider Echo Isle her home still, it was just an entirely different feeling being there than it was when she was here.
“More times than I can even count.” The youngest of the two admitted as she turned to look back at her older sister. Of course Sophie has thought about moving to Halloweentown. She’s certain if asked, Grandma Aggie would delightfully open her open for her until the young witch found a place of her own to stay, and even if their mom wouldn’t be as happy over the idea, she would let Sophie move here too if that’s what she really wanted. But as much as the brunette thought about it, there were ties to the mortal world she wanted to keep that kept her from making the jump. And one of those being Marnie. “But I wouldn’t try doing so anytime soon. I have too much going on back at Echo just to drop everything and come here.”Â
