psssst! ramble some more about Mick/Tommy 👀 (someone mentioned it to you and, fuck, it got stuck in my head)
OOOHHH this gets a straight A!!!!! i mean, i can totally see Tommy running around like an energetic puppy, bringing random stuff to Mick who accepts all this with a “yeah, cool, kid” and keeps sipping his vodka. sometimes tommy’s endless energy does tire him a little, he just can’t follow him everywhere and do all the stuff that tommy wants him to do, but at the same time tommy is his ray of sunshine who always manages to cheer him up in his darkest hours. the way he gets super worried when he sees mick in pain and fusses over him, constantly asking whether he wants something or maybe he needs an extra pillow or does he want him to turn the radio on, and it always warms mick’s heart to see this genuine concern on his face. he does think sometimes that he’s too old for tommy, that tommy would be better off with a younger and healthier partner, but tommy always covers his ears and shakes his head when mick starts talking about it, not even wanting to hear a word of such bullshit. oh how i love the dynamics between these two :,)
