Although just in general Haechan makes fun of him constantly, so that’s not much of a difference. It’s a key part of their friendship. 

It’s “doubly important when Winwin is involved”, according to Haechan, and he makes sure to tell Mark he’s blushing any time he even looks at Winwin. 

Or, god forbid, Winwin looks at him. 

One time Winwin smiled at Mark and he almost passed out. 

Jisung has pictures. 

Mark thinks he deleted the pictures from Jisung’s phone but he did NOT; Jisung backed them up. 

Blackmail material for Winwin and Mark’s future wedding, as Haechan would say. 

But anyways, Mark is totally not freaking out at all he’s acting perfectly normal. He is having a totally normal reaction to seeing such a dreamy, beautiful, amazing, wonderful person gracing his presence. 

Right. 

…And it would be fine except Mark just keeps seeming to run into Winwin and it is NOT helping with the little baby crush Mark has been developing against his will. 

…

Winwin has a habit of dropping into Language of Flowers, the florist shop Mark works at, on his way to swim practice at the rec. 

Not that Mark knows Winwin’s schedule by heart or anything!

But Winwin almost always comes in to look at the new displays and fresh flowers. He gets such a soft smile on his face when he leans in and smells a particularly lovely bloom. 

It entrances Mark just a little. Only a little!

…It’s gotten to the point where even Mark’s manager is aware of his crush on Winwin. 

She’ll push him out to the front with a new palette of flowers to arrange any time Winwin is in, saying, “Go place these on the table, right next to where your pretty boy is.” 

And every time it makes Mark’s face burn bright red, but this is literally his job so he has to. 

She jokingly scolds him afterwards because every time, instead of saying anything, Mark just quickly and quietly places the flowers in vases, trying not to look to his right side even slightly. 

But then one day, by some horrible act of the universe, one of the flowers tips out of Mark’s hand before he can catch it, tumbling to land by Winwin’s feet. 

Who then picks it up. 

And hands it to him. 

Mark is definitely not blushing again. 

But Winwin doesn’t point it out, just smiles softly and places the flower into Mark’s open hand. “Here, caught this one for you.”

“Uh.. t-thank you. Thanks.” Mark stumbles over his words. 

Winwin smiles again at Mark and he thinks he might faint. “Of course.” 

Mark stands there frozen for far too long. “Um. Yeah I’m just gonna. Go now.” 

“Okay, I’ll see you later then.” 

“Um yeah.”

“Do you work here every day?”

“Um most days! Every day that you come in though. Not that I memorized it! I sound insane.” Mark says miserably. “I’m terrible at talking to pretty people.”

“You think I’m pretty?”

Mark freezes. “Aaaand I said that out loud, now I have to go throw myself off the nearest skyscraper.”

“No, I think it’s cute. You’re cute.”

“Oh. Uh. Thanks.” Mark turns to leave abruptly, blushing bright red again. 

He turns back around just as suddenly. “Sorry, um are you flirting with me?”

“Yes Mark, I’m flirting with you.”

“Oh.” Mark answers brilliantly.

“So, are you doing anything after work?”

“Oh uh I mean usually I go home to study and work and-”

“Mark! I’m trying to ask you out.”

“Oh. Oh! Yes! Um yes! I would like to go. On a date. With you.”

“Cool, I could pick you up after work?”

“Uh yeah! Yes.”

Winwin smiles. “Okay cool, I’ll see you then.”

“Yeah, see you then.”
