I did rewatch Gen Y a few weeks ago. That series is a mess. Mark and Kit were the only good thing to come out of it. God, I need a Mark in my life, BFF or BF. I just rewatched Close Friend 2 too. Went on a bit of a KimCop binge.

The worst part for me is that they still work. Their chemistry and acting is still on point for me and I hate that I love them together. Like, genuinely, it's so hard for me to separate from their scenes.

I nearly cried at Kit's relief not to get the scholarship. I could feel the tears because he was so heartfelt and so joyful at not getting the scholarship that would have forced him to be apart from the man he loves for possibly years.

Mark broke my heart as he stared at Kit and waited for the news that would shape his future, shape their relationship and possibly break his heart. I ached with his impatience and his need to know and his willingness to sacrifice for him.

That scene was beautiful... except for the context. Out of context? Poetry.
