Support a new Aussie Business!
Are you sick of fast fashion? sick of ordering clothes online and realising the fabric feels terrible? Sick of supporting brands that you know where their products came from? It is extremely hard to try and be ethical in this day and age but here’s one pretty stylish option: MARKAH
My sister has just launched her business: ethically made embroidered shirts. Not only are the designs gorgeous (which she created herself) the t shirts are high quailty 100% cotton and are manufactured across 3 factories in Dhaka Bangladesh. All locations provide employee benefits such as insurance, medical facilities, workers committee, some providing meals, childcare and transport. (more info on the work conditions on the Markah website)
Since this is a new business the best way to help support ( if you can’t buy a shirt) is to share this post, follow the business on social media, like posts, share posts, comment and share the love for Markah around. I know how much my sister has worked on this and I really want to share her beautiful work with all of you and hope that you all love it as much as I do :)
