Okay so my boyfriend has these placements and I asked him this and this is what he said:

I want to start by saying I am a HEAVY believer that Nathan is being manipulated into all this. I can't imagine this guy drugging girls and possibly taking part in a murder willingly. ((OBVIOUSLY THISÂ DOESN'TÂ EXCUSE HIS ACTIONS))
For starters, the first fucking episode heâs probably in the middle of having a mental breakdown in the girls bathroom. When Nathan gets angry at Chloe he shouts  âIâm so sick of people trying to control me!â. Hint hint wink, Like honestly, I believe Mark Jefferson is calling the shots behind most of Nathanâs illegal actions. That Nathan is just this pathetic pawn who probably didnât realize what the fuck he was getting himself into.Â
Also idk why people act like Nathan would kill someone in cold blood without hesitation. Like are we forgetting the scene that happens right after he shoots Chloe?
Like I can bet money Nathan would not pull a trigger. That his gun is all Bark and show. âBut he shot Chloe!!â You say? Chloe shoved him. While the moron had a gun in his hand. I think itâs self explanatory. Itâs pretty dang clear he didnât seriously want to shoot. (( But rlly Nathan doNâT FUCKIN AIM GUNS AT PPL UNLESS U WANNA KILL U MORON. ))
Episode 2 is a blur to me so Iâm not gonna talk much about that. or episode 3. Nathan is a dick though lets just leave it at that.Â

NOW I REMEMBER SEEING A POST ALL LIKE âNathan took pics of those girls!â. Like dude are we playing the same game?? Mark Jefferson is obviously the one taking the photos? Why would Nathan be taking photos when Mark Jeffersonâs character is literally âPhotographyâ. Mark Jeffersonâs entire character was all about Photography the first three episodes. I can bet my right arm that heâs the one taking the photos. Hell, I bet some of his award winning photoâs are of girls he took to the Dark Room.Â
In episode 4 I believe, we see a letter that tells us Nathanâs parents REFUSED to take him to a mental health specialist. That the doctor was extremely concerned about Nathan and did not agree with them taking him out of it. We also saw what drugs Nathan takes, which is stuff for Schizophrenia and something else. I canât remember. I also remember seeing something that said Nathan has disassociating problems? Or maybe I dreamed that up. Iâm pretty sure it was in episode 4 though.Â

iâLL EDIT THIS POST AS I GET MORE THEORIES WITH THIS JACKASS..SORRY FOR HOW ABRUPTLY THIS ENDED LMAFO. Point is I believe there is a LOT more to Nathanâs character that will be revealed in Episode 5. I believe that Mark Jefferson is controlling Nathan like some puppet. I believe Nathan is regretting everything heâs done and the guilty from everything is just adding more and more problems to his mental health.Â
