So, last night a news reader on 702 lost his cool and started dropping F-bombs all over the show. Listen below:

The man has subsequently been identified as Mark Esterhuysen. The question is, why did he do what he did? Here is my take on it.

Apathy is the biggest hindrance to a progressive society, and for me this statement he made was a cry against that. Enough with the apathy, stand up and do something about it. The Americans have started to wake up and organise some resistance, as seen with the #OccupyWallstreet protests that are now in their tenth day. 

This is just a guy who used what little power he had to try and make a difference, by hopefully waking some people up to the apathy that we find ourselves in.
