Mark Carlson is a freelance writer, aviation historian, and docent and researcher at the SD Air & Space Museum. Legally blind, he works with his guide dog, Musket. Past President of Poway-Black Mountain Toastmasters, with ACS and CL awards, he established the FUNspeakable historical lecture series for local organizations, adult communities and schools. He has written six novels, including "Promises to Keep" (Paragon Press e-book, 2010) and "Confessions of a Guide Dog - the Blonde Leading the Blind" (iUniverse, 2011).
