Pride Art, Day 21: Out of Focus + Stereotype

[sometime later]

Bop egg.

Bop’s put something quiet and sweet on the record player, the needle scratching out the singer’s longing voice, long, elegant notes sweeping through the studio. 

They’re dancing, Bing’s hands on Bop’s hips, Bop’s hands on Bing’s shoulders, head tucked into the crook of his neck. His eyes are closed, lips curved in a smile.

“Do you believe in love?” Bing murmurs into his ear, his breath warm against his skin, and Bop hums, fingers rubbing light patterns against the faint freckles on Bing’s shoulders, sure he could live in this moment for eternity. 

“I do. Especially now that I have you”, Bop answers, and something in Bing’s servos must be malfunctioning, because his face feels too warm, and something in his chest tightens, squeezing a gasp from his lungs. But it doesn’t feel bad. He thinks he might be in love too, and Bing knows Google would double down on his insistence on being superior, and maybe he’d be right but.
