TOH’S end. (Not spoilers though!)
I just finished watching the final episode of The Owl House. I will not give spoilers until some time has passed but I do wanna talk about what it means for me. Animated Series and Videogames have always had a special place in my heart, they have been the one thing that always bring out the purest of emotions in me, I have felt so much love and joy from the smallest of moments and even sadness too. For me these things, these stories are not just something to watch for fun or entertainment, for me they are art. Animation is an art that is beyond phenomenal because it’s a combination of so many things, an art piece like this has so many things to be talked about, the backgrounds, the colors, the character designs, the characters themselves, props, the story, the voices, gosh darn the music and so much more. I love learning and picking up every detail of these things. Making fanfics, fanart, it’s a way to connect with these worlds, to keep looking into their potential. I have followed this era of animated series since I was a kid, TMNT 2003 and 2012, Gravity Falls, Steven Universe, Adventure Time, Svtfoe, The Owl House etc. I watched many as they were just starting and was a little late for some others but still, I grew with them and they’re the reason I am pursuing a career that hopefully will let me create a story such as this on my own so others can get to feel what I felt. I feel like with The Owl House an era has ended in many ways and I don’t know what my future holds but it would be really cool if more of these fantastical stories were in it. I wanna thank all the creators of these shows and hope I can live up to them one day. And thank you The Owl House for filling part of a void that was in my heart, I will hold you there forever.
