I don't know if you've answered this questions before or not, but how do your characters go about making garments and the like in your worlds? What materials are most common? How can those with scales instead of skin be accommodated?
actually this one is a first time ever! Lavender usually goes around fabric/leather garments, since its one of the more common materials used for clothing in the Deadlands. most of the time though, he tends to cover it with armor and such. His scales are pretty smooth to avoid drag and he has little grooves in them that lets his skin breathe, so using clothes overall isnt much of an issue for him. Marie in the other side of the spectrum, does not wear clothes at all and does not care about wearing clothes. having clothes underwater would pretty much make her feel drag when swimming in a world where there's a lot of predatory marine creatures and such. its better for her to not get slowed down by wearing something that causes any kind of drag when swimming. she is quite fond of piercing her fins though! for Zay i dont know how to go around underwater clothing. like genuinely. He just wears stuff even if its all wet and damp i guess
