It’s easy to get overwhelmed by everything, being tossed into such new circumstances. Hajime’s been musing on it. It’s been exciting, certainly! But it’s good to take the time to sit back, relax... Process. And where better to do it than some cute hole in the wall café? Well. First she has to find one. She ponders idly who she’s going to ask, among the various strangers walking the same streets as her... Those ghostly people aren’t much for conversation, so... Maybe her?

As soon as Gible saw a chance, she was out of there. As a young Pokemon, she valued her freedom more than anything. Cynthia was the perfect Trainer for her in that respect: she fought for Cynthia, and Cynthia let her be somewhat free. It was a compromise, one that she treasured.

But it didn’t come without its troubles at first. And now that she was stuck in this form, she’d take advantage of those troubles whenever she could. She knew better, but that was no fun.

Old habits die hard. Even in times of peril, the desire to protect and do good came to Amaterasu as instinctively as the need to hunt would arise in a regular wolf. The city had its fair share of limitations and obstacles; higher ground in the form of great hills and tall cliffs overlooking the beautiful vistas of home were not quite as bountiful or natural in this city. Amaterasu made do, choosing to perch on top of a tall, parked vehicle so that she could watch the world below her. It certainly caught a few stares; as strange as this city was, it wasn’t quite as odd as the sight of a wolf sitting on top of a vehicle was. 

It wasn’t long before the wolf caught sight of her. A young girl, seemingly harmless, idly going about her day with whatever chores or shopping or whatever she was getting done. A typical thing for people to do this time of year, given the festivities. Ordinary looking, yet there was something particularly intriguing about this character that drew Amaterasu to her similar to how a moth to a flame would. Something not even the deity could place.

The girl was walking away. It would be minutes before she would vanish from the wolf’s sight, gone and leaving only her memory to inspire wonder within the old wolf’s head. Taking action, Amaterasu would leap down from the car and slowly trot behind the girl, following her as a lost puppy would a human, with small blades of grass not too far behind the wolf.

Kratos has been in this city before, so he shouldn’t be lost. Admittedly, it’s been a while. But that’s no excuse for him to have ended up in... Sector oo6, is it? The sector with grass and parks and clean air. It’s apparently growing late in the year, though, so the trees have lost most of their leaves and the grass has faded to a dull brown. Still, it’s not a bad place to think. It’s not as though he needs to return to his provided home to sleep. He’ll need to go there eventually; for now, he can stay here for a bit.

He can’t feel the wind, but he imagines it’s frigid, which is part of why this area is so quiet. But then, he spots a small girl, staring intently at the ground as if looking for something. He debates approaching her, and after a moderately long  internal struggle, he relents.
