This tasty and cool MargaritaPops_2 ice cream is a fun take on the classic margarita. It has the sour taste of lime and orange mixed with the sourness of tequila and triple sec, making it a great summer treat.
Ingredients: 2 cups heavy cream. 1 cup sweetened condensed milk. 1/4 cup tequila. 2 tablespoons triple sec. Zest of 2 limes. 2 tablespoons lime juice. 1 tablespoon orange juice. 1/4 cup chopped fresh mint leaves.
Instructions: Heavy cream and sweetened condensed milk should be mixed together in a large bowl. Triple sec, lime zest, lime juice, and orange juice should all be added. Combine well. Add the chopped mint leaves slowly. Place the mix into popsicle molds. Place a popsicle stick in each mold. Put it in the freezer for at least six hours, or until it's solid. Once it's frozen, take it out of the molds and serve right away. If you want, you can add more lime zest and mint leaves as a garnish.
