Did you get permission to write that clothing soulmate thing? Because I'd like to see jerematt in that verse
A/N: I got permission so have a shortish drabble about it.Â
Heâd seen how happy platonic soulmates could be. Michael and Gavin were platonic soulmates. Michael had come to work his first day with a polo that wasnât his, that he hadnât put on himself, and Gavin had been the poor shirtless Brit who had Michaelâs socks. Theyâd tried dating at first, but itâd become obvious pretty quickly that they werenât quite meant for that sort of thing. Gavin loves to retell the tale when drunk, and brags about how sometimes theyâll still wake up with each otherâs necklaces around their necks because the world knew they were âboisâ.
Still, Jeremy was hoping for something more along the lines of what Jack and Geoff had. Though maybe something that developed a bit quicker. When Jack met Geoff, he had the manâs jacket over his arm and assumed heâd just picked it up by accident. Then Geoff had given Jack his shoes at the office, and theyâd both assumed heâd just left them there. Really, with how many times they had the otherâs clothing Jeremy thought one of them would have noticed that it wasnât just coincidence. It wasnât until Jack came back from lunch with Geoffâs ring stuck on his pinky finger and his hat on Geoffâs head that they finally got it. Since then, they always seemed to find each otherâs eyes and share secretive smiles. Ones full of joy, love, and a joke that the rest were clearly missing. They were happy, and sometimes Jeremy would catch Geoff laughing when Jackâs jacket settled around him while Jack would be struggling with Geoffâs ring on his finger for the millionth time.
Romantic or platonic, he didnât care. He just wanted the chance to be happy like everyone else. Jeremy thought he deserved at least that much. So each morning after he got dressed, heâd stop and look in the mirror for at least ten minutes. Maybe if he waited long enough, their clothing would appear. Maybe itâd finally be the day that he met someone. Maybe if he kept checking, heâd stop feeling like he wasnât going to ever meet them. In the end, it didnât really matter whether or not he looked in the mirror that morning.
The hoodie appeared just before he entered the grocery store. All he was grabbing was some milk, and he wouldnât have even noticed the new apparel if it hadnât drooped down over his eyes. For a moment, everything seemed to stop. It was going to happen. He was going to meet his soulmate. Taking a deep breath, he lifted his arm and pushed the hood down off his head. Jeremy didnât have any idea what he was supposed to do now. Or how to know what theyâd be like. He stood there, staring at the automatically opening doors, until someone leaving scared him into moving.
Would they call to him? Would they be wearing something of his? What of his was missing? Should he still get what he needed and leave? What if he missed them? What if they saw him, didnât want a soulmate, and left? God, he was only making this so much worse. Frowning, he looked down at himself. He needed somewhere to start, after all, and it only made sense to figure out what to look for first.
His cross was gone.
The cold metal of his necklace would normally be tapping against his chest under his shirt when he walked, but it wasnât there. Somehow, that was worse than anything else missing because it was the only thing he wore on a daily basis. Itâs absence left him feeling uneasy and hoping that whomever his soulmate was they didnât mind religious symbols. He forced himself to start walking again, trying not to stare at everyone he passed. If they didnât have his cross heâd just look like some creeper. Jeremy found himself just standing in front of the dairy, eyes darting to other customerâs necks and had to try to convince himself into action. He grabbed a half gallon and started to make his way back to the front of the store, stopped only by a glimpse of gold. On impulse, he followed it.
âSo thatâs where my jacket went. I hope youâre not allergic to cats.â Â The man wearing his cross said. He was taller than Jeremy, on the thinner side, with rectangular glasses and scruff. Not anything heâd never pictured as a soulmate, but somehow better.
âYouâre wearing my cross.â Was Jeremyâs smart response. Already he felt himself regretting ever wanting a soulmate.
âYes, I am. Wanna trade back? As cute as you look drowning in my jacket, itâs fucking cold.â
âYou ever try wearing two thick hoodies inside? Iâm hot as hell.â
âIs that what you tell the mirror every morning.â
âAbsolutely. Right after I ask it whoâs the fairest of them all.â
Happy thanksgiving Davie! Jerematt, that zombie minecraft au that happened in that chatzy? Have a good break
A/N: Happy Thanksgiving. And darn you, now I have to think of a skillful way to hide the big secret until I can write the Ray one.Â
"Jeremy-oh no. Fuck. Come on Jeremy, itâs going to be okay. Youâll make it. Weâll make it. Weâll make it through this just like we always do okay? Just..a little further, Jeremy. A little further."
ââ
"Holy shit look! Thereâs a house. Itâs empty and itâs away from the villages- so itâll be okay. I promise, itâll be okay. I hope. I really hope. God you canât do this, you hear me?"
ââ
"Oh fuck. Jeremy come on. Jeremy no- please. The sun will be up soon we need to move. Just back to the house- please. I know you miss the sun, but we canât. We just canât."
ââ
"Baby. Baby get up. You canât just lie on the floor forever. Please. Jeremy, please get up. Weâll figure this out. I wonât just let itâŚI wonât lose you. I just wonât okay?"
ââ
"They did it. They actually motherfucking did it. Jeremy- itâs all going to be fine! Itâs going to work. Youâll come back, alright? Youâll come back to me and you can say or do whatever dumb stupid thing you want but you come back."
Hey papa dragon. I'm thankful for you, too, and all you're support. You've helped me get the confidence to be myself and to have confidence in my writing. So thank you for everything. I do have a prompt though, lol. Jeremy/Matt/Kdin - whatever you want to do with them. Or if you can't think of something, where Jeremy and Matt are in a relationship and they bring Kdin into it. Happy thanksgiving papa dragon!!!
A/N: Iâm glad I could help at all. Happy Thanksgiving, Baby dragon. <3
"How do we tell him?" Matt said in a hushed whisper, hiding his face against Jeremyâs shoulder.
"Itâs probably bad for your back to be bent like that." Jeremy said, running his hand down the otherâs back.
"You canât just avoid the subject. This is important."
"I know."
"So then help me you useless motherfucker."
"Hey! Iâm not useless."
"Youâre being useless."
"Only because any time I tell you what I think about this you tell me to shut up."
"Your ideas are terrible."
"Fuck you."
"Later. Not until we get this done."
"Matt, seriously, we could just approach it the same way."
"What walk up with a bouquet of breadsticks?"
"Hey, it worked!"
"It did not. I laughed at you."
"And then said yes."
"Technically I said âfine as long as next time you bring a pizza tooâ."
"But anyways."
"Anyways?"
"I mean just ask him. We could tell Kdin that âhey weâre sort of ass over face for you and weâd really love to bang you on a long-term basis."

(I hope everything gets better soon dear!) When your writer's block is gone I'd like a Jerematt borderlands AU? Take your time, I understand how hard it is to write sometimes!
Iâve never played/watched Borderlands. Iâm sorry darling.
itâs a habitual habit of madeline to make the bed every morning. either sheâs the last one out of bed in the morning or sheâs always the last one to wake but either way she likes doing it as itâs a nice normal start to her day.Â
has sole possession of the T.V. remote
mostly jeremy has control of the remote as madeline is quite content with reading a book. however, every now and then madeline might fight him for it if there is something she really wants to watch on.
stays up until 2am reading
there have been times when jeremy has had to come out and carry madeline into bed because sheâs so caught up in a book and wonât go to bed unless somebody makes her put it down for the night.
is the bigger cuddler
can be a mixture of both of them, though more often than not itâs jeremy.Â
does the laundry
one time jeremy did the laundry, and the colors bled into one another, and maddy had to throw most of them out. sheâs never let him do the laundry again.Â
mows the lawn
a shirtless jeremy.
is better at budgeting
neither. budgeting is the least of their concerns.
instigates the sex (and whoâs into the kinkier stuff)
madeline probably instigates it more often than jeremy does. as for who is into the more kinkier stuff⌠well letâs just say⌠that when jeremy unleashes his dark side he has some pretty kinkyâŚ.
send me a ship and Iâll tell you who:
makes the bed in the mornings
hardly either of them make the bed. the two of them are always curled up together until the alarm clock goes off or maybe sometimes pushing past that alarm clock time for various reasons -cough- and then up and adam and getting grayson out of bed and ready for his day. though on the days when they might have visitors over, elena makes itÂ
has sole possession of the T.V. remote
when itâs not their son, itâs tyler. itâs clear where the t.v watching, couch sitting ritual comes from, because the pair of them sit exactly like one another. like father, like son. they certainly didnât get it from her.Â
stays up until 2am reading
elena. though sheâs more often than not writing in her diary than reading.Â
is the bigger cuddler
tyler is the bigger cuddler. maybe itâs because heâs trying to assure her that heâs not going to go anywhere again.
does the laundry
elena and kitchens have never worked harmoniously together. so she leaves the cooking to tyler and elena happily does the laundry. it works out well since she doesnât have to worry about burning down the house.Â
mows the lawn
they have a gardener for that.Â
is better at budgeting
you see even in his rebellious teenage years and his rocky relationship with his father, tyler did learn a thing or two about budgeting. after all it canât be entirely avoided when you both your parents were mayors. so when it comes to handling their expenses, tyler is better at it than elena is.Â
instigates the sex (and whoâs into the kinkier stuff)
both of them do their fair share of instigating as for whose kinkier.. well letâs just say neither of them like it pure vanilla.Â
Her hand went to her neck instinctively as she opened her eyes, finding herself in Jeremyâs protective embrace. He was talking but she wasnât quite making out the words, as she was trying to figure out what exactly had happened to her. She had been cooking dinner for the two of them when she had heard somebody else come in, and at first she had thought it was Jeremy but then â
Emerald brown eyes widened as she remembered exactly who it was whom had been here, practically jumping out of his arms as she searched frantically around for him. One could only imagine what he was here for, but she had an idea of what it could be.Â
âIâm more worried about you than I am me. Klaus is here.â
