Recipe of the Marchpane
Ingredients:
Almonds (peeled, ground) - 3 cups
Sugar - 2 cups
Water - 1 cup
Egg (whites, lightly beaten) - 2 pcs.
Powdered sugar - 3-4 tbsp.
Vanilla - 1 tsp.
Cooking:
Preheat a water in skillet, add sugar and stir. Wait until the sugar is completely dissolved and allow the syrup to boil a little bit.
Remove from heat and whisk to syrup is slightly turbid.
Add the ground almonds, beaten eggs, vanilla and boil for about 2-3 minutes until the mixture begins to fall off the walls of a skillet.
Put the mixture on a board sprinkled with powdered sugar and knead the marzipan mass.
From the finished marzipan, blind any figurines or cut into squares or balls roll.
Wrap in foil or parchment paper and store it in a box with a tight lid :)Â
