I always forget to share the website with the crafting kits (Adults & Crafts) in case anybody wants to try this too. There are more kits than just clay. There’s pour painting, wood and mandala kits.
All glazed! I think the green/blue/gold (looked more turquoise before baking) and dark blue/gold/black are my favorites. They all turned out nice though.

I really like how they look before I roll and smooth them out so I take before and after photos. I guess I could keep them that way and not use them as coasters, just decoration, but for now making coasters is fun.
It was hard to see how sparkly they were in the last photo because I didn’t have a light right on them, so here they are under light and all baked! Two of them aren’t sparkly.

By the time I got home last night from JFK airport it was 2:30am! I’m so glad that I did not let myself feel tired today and made it in time to the afternoon paint pouring demo at @blickartmaterials on 6th Ave in NYC. I’ve been fascinated with this art technique since I discovered it on YouTube as creating marbled patterns is so my style! My living room is in need of new artwork and now I’m inspired to create these paint pouring art pieces for my place.
