wrow is that some league art Marahj, the Dancer of the Dunes. A remade Yordle OC from years ago, now placed into Nashramae on the Shuriman coastline, as a guardian of the city. Her ancestors, who served in Azir’s court, left her the weapon she wields, The Key to the Sun. She excels in it’s split form, and only used the combined form for casting her sandstorm tornado spell that would be her ult in game. Now, Mara is a curious and loyal sort, and while the people of Nashramae see her for what she is, not as a glamoured being as most other humans do, Mara herself hasn’t been in contact with other Yordles, save her late parents, her whole life. So when visiting Noxians make mention of a ‘crazed old man in the plains claiming to be older than Noxus’ Mara figures if anyone is a glamoured Yordle, it’s that guy. After a long trip to the Noxian Plains, Mara comes across a fleeing Skaarl, and the lizard is instantaneously taken with the Yordle, allowing Mara to pet her and shower with affections. Commotion in the distance draws Skaarl’s attention back to her master though, and Mara follows her to Kled, who, unsurprisingly, is untrusting of this stranger on his lands but Skaarl refuses to let him do anything about it. Mara is nice! Mara gives pets! Still, though, Mara and Kled get into a little scrap and after both are as ‘satisfied’ as they could be, Kled...relents. Somewhat. She’s at least decent with a weapon and knows her way in a fight and he can respect that, even if it’s just a little. Besides, his ‘traitorous’ lizard won’t let him kill the girl. So, an unlikely, if not a little one-sided, friendship forms between the two.
