Some pics from the 4 day trek I did earlier this week around Sucre in Bolivia. Stunning landscapes, lots of Quechua learning, amazing people and tons of fun.
I am volunteering in a non-profit treks and tours agency and it’s has been incredible so far! I am helping them with marketing and communication (which is what I study in college) but I’m mostly here to go on treks and help with translation (for the guides that don’t speak English and the tourists that don’t speak Spanish). I speak Spanish, French and English daily and sometimes a bit of Portuguese and Italian.
Learning lots of languages has opened so many doors for me and has allowed me to live so many experiences that I couldn’t have had if I only spoke French. I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to learn all those languages and now to travel so much! I hope this story can motivate some of you to keep learning :)
