Never Think II Amy & Tony II Drabble (A Click and A Bang)
A Click And A Bang: My muse accidentally killing yours.
(Sidenote: The is an AU a few years in the future where the war is still going on and Amy & Tony are married. Yes, I’m going to kill some feels. For you Shiri.)
It was in the heat of the war and people were everywhere. Apparating left and right. Whether you were fiighting for good or for the other guys who wanted blood purity, people were dying.
Amy was never much of the solider type but she had to be. No one was going to hurt the people she loved and she displayed a fierceness. A fierceness a mother had. That’s because she was pregnant. Of course she was told not to fight, well by the only few people who knew at the time. Tony was especially against is and she knew she shouldn’t but Amy Pond (Yes, still Pond) rarely did what she was told.
Running down the steps of Hogwarts, the main steps near the entrance, she saw Lucifer Malak. She thought she had lost him. He gave her his crazy smile and started towards her, and she shot a spell down in front of him that collapsed the stone so he couldn’t get through to her. It still didn’t work, and with the flick of his wand the stone was repaired.
Amy kept running but the opposite way. Little did she know, Tony was trekking her, like he was going to leave his pregnant wife alone. Stupid Redhead, he thought to himself.
The redhead shot a spell backwards, a curse that didn’t necessarily ensure death but without treatment right away, would ensue it. She had meant to hit Lucifer. When she looked back, she saw Tony instead, on the dusty ground. He...didn’t look so good. No, no, this couldn’t be happening.
She ran over to him, not caring they were in the middle of a battlefield. It didn’t matter really. Kneeling down, she tried to keep her war face on, and looked around for anyone that could help. Yelling would not be smart. But there was no one, Lucifer was already content and he had left.
Amy looked at Tony, trying not to cry, smoothing his hair. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, you were right. I’m so so sorry. You’re not going to die. No.” He kept looking at her, everything really hurt, and he couldn’t be dying. Tony Stark could not be dying, not after everything. Not after he had finally been somewhat happy. No, really happy.
“Amy.” Tony looked at her and sighed, trying to give her a half smile.
Amy blinked back tears quickly before replying, “Yes?” she gave him a kiss on the cheek. This was her fault, this was all her fault. Before he could talk back to her, she knew they needed to be safe. Amy used all her energy and held on to Tony tightly before apparating to the closet. The Closet that started it all.
“Of course, the closet.” He said. Amy thought to herself, of course he still manages to be sassy while dying.
“I don’t see anywhere else better, Silly Stark.” She said through tears. The infirmaries would have been her first place, but the other side had now controlled them. Plus, if they let you in, they did things to you. Made more soliders. Her husband didn’t deserve that, not brilliant, loyal, Tony.
Tony just looked at her for a bit and she looked back. There were so many memories running between them and so many memories that would never be had. But they were still living them in each others eyes, in that one look. Raising their child was one they kept going over. Their little girl.
“I love you much more than you’ll know, Amy, and her too.” Tony was just breathing now, the personality draining from his face. Amy kept kissing him over and over again. She was crying, and knew she should do something, anything. But he was going to die. With this war, she had long accepted death. But not him. And not by her wand.
