A Maneki Neko (Beckoning cat or a luck bringing cat)

I’ve been working on her design for a while, and well she’s the explanation of all of dem cat studies. I have more images but since this is my regular blog I won’t be showing them here. Maybe in my artblog someday, but other than that nothing. 

She’s a cat lady based off of a Japanese Bobtail (but without the bobtail), and also based off of the ornament most Japanese restaurants use: the maneki neko. Like the maneki neko, she uses a giant ceremonial mallet with her right hand to whack money out of people. On the contrary, her left arm is used for seduction. Kinda like how the maneki neko swings its right paw to call for money, and its left paw to bring people in. I bet you can understand where this is coming from now.
