It turns out that all these years later she has PTSD from the abusive partner that shot all the pron she was in. She is wheelchair-bound with lots of medical issues. She apparently is living in Canada with two cars and a new, loving partner who doesn’t speak much English which is straight out of a visual novel.

This week, my close friend Mandy spent a few days at my place to avoid contracting a normal-human-virus at hers. We did our own work, watched the sun set every evening, and generally did some excellent low key supporting and loving each other as we dealt with our body stuff and life stuff. I changed the dressing on her PICC line, which scared me more than any medical procedure I've had done to me. It's harder to handle the stress when doing it for a friend than yourself. Later that night, we watched the sun set again and drove out to Malibu with the windows down, blasting music we're both currently obsessed with. We sat on the beach beneath the stars, laughing until a rogue wave soaked us. It was thoroughly great. The thing doctors forget, and friends forget and even we forget sometimes is this: We’re trying to live, not just survive.

Pizza, although when I was in the US last year I tried something called a hamburger-pizza, where they have hamburgers as topping on an all American Pizza. My tongue was still in orgasmic spasms on the plane back to Norway.

Two years ago it was Slipknot. One and a half year ago it was Hadouken!. A year ago it was Soundgarden. 9 months ago it was Gorillaz. 6 months ago it was Daft Punk. Then Panic! at the Disco. Now it's Sex Bob-Omb. Actually, it's Gorillaz right now. You can see where I'm going with this.

I've been to countless concerts. The last one was... Can't remember, it was the HoVe festival. Ed Sheeran, Rise Against and Lost Prophets were there. One of those.
