AAAAA okok so the idea of this was. Alastor, seeing as Vox is more vulnerable and rock-bottom than he's ever been before, proposes a deal. But let's make things clear, this is an honestly desperate deal from Alastor. Alastor doesn't do desperate, but for the record: this is desperate. I made this with the whole "Vox is just focusing on healing right now and just wants to be rid of Alastor/isn't obsessed anymore with how depressed he is" thing in mind, and Al thinks that if he reminds Vox of those times - times that HE HIMSELF DESPERATELY wants to return to - and impulsively, desperately, proposes a deal that can somehow return them there/something to do with a partnership... well, Vox can't refuse. He just can't. He won't, right?
Al is soo confident about this new impulsive idea he's just thrown out there. He thinks he's in control - despite being visibly giddy. Look at that man. (Again - the song's vibes lol) (the song describes my thought process behind this work much better than I can)
This song. Is just. Idk man. Something about Lana Del Rey's vibe. Her unreleased songs SPECIFICALLY. This song specifically for Staticsilence. The subtle mocking, the sheer levity and unseriousness, but underneath that, the genuine desire to go back to before. And for Alastor, the sort of manic-adjacent desperation that only comes after Vox genuinely stops indulging the rivalry and giving him attention. The sort of desperation that leads you into making an impulsive, impulsive offer.
Okay okay. Now. I realise that day 2 of Staticsilence week is looong gone. IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF VOX'S FUCKASS HEAD. PLEASE. I CAN'T DO PERSPECTIVE. ESPECIALLY WHEN I HAVE TO PUT A FACE ON THAT BOX AFTERWARDS. I WAS WATCHING THE TIMELAPSE AND HOOOLY SHIT IT TOOK 2 AND A HALF HOURS FOR ME TO DRAW THAT SINGLE BOX HEAD TURNED TO THE SIDE. Fuck you Vox. Fuck you and your fuckass object head.
I got soo frustrated drawing this I lwk tapped out for like a day and hdkdjdkdjkd man im just glad I don't gotta look at this anymore. I planned this so poorly and didn't want to change the trash composition after so LMAO this did NOT come out like I imagined in my head but you know what. Good enough. 🥹✌️
As much as I love Staticsilence, this is prolly gonna be my only addition to Staticsilence week this year cause 1. It's almost over AHAHA and 2, I got some other projects im working on that I wanna get out sometime soon! Surprisingly though, despite the absolute STRUGGLE that this was, I have the self destructive urge to continue this AU, or even just create more song/lyrics inspired art... shibal my stupid baka life.../ref

Hi!!! I'm happy to hear you like my AU! Hmm, okay this one's a bit tough because I sorta created the AU with a Staticbelle angle in mind AHAHHA this is just a peek inside my dark and sadistic mind.../ref I remember coming up with the concept and being like "wait. but what if the situation is made 100 times worse by Charlie and Vox having chemistry before this." HAHAHHAH SORRY IDK IF IM JUST WEIRD. The post itself isn't explicitly Staticbelle (or Radiostatic or Radioapple), and Staticbelle in particular is mostly gonna be a gag, but I personally thought that since the AU's gonna head in the direction of it, and the involved characters interact in the post, it should get tagged as such haha. I also wanted that tag to recontextualise the final panels for anyone who caught it, just as a fun little detail to add to the humour of the situation (for us) and the absurdity (for our hotel gang).
So ya!! Although the Staticbelle isn't anything crazy, I do think that cause I intended it to be there in the comic and they interact (a bit) in said comic, the tag is fine to stay (especially cause it also serves as a lil heads up for anyone who doesn't want Staticbelle in their Staticqueen pie) (which is completely understandable btw).

Oh also for anyone interested in how Staticbelle-y this AU is gonna be: It's just one big gag honestly, Vox ruined his chances the second he married Lilith... Charlie's just grossed out now every time he says something even a LITTLE bit weird because obviously. Vox meanwhile is just doing it to be annoying I can't even lie (Staticbelle is my second fav but they're all jokes for this AU)
As for the other ships. Radiostatic is my fav Hazbin ship (i am obsessed with them) and Radioapple is sorta inevitable with the way I set this AU up so LOL there ya go (as a treat I'm gonna also tell you guys that Staticmoth is pretty big in this AU, with a little side of QPR polyvees :3) (next part's gonna be about the Vees!)
