When I learned more of their offscreen friendship, general closeness, and chemistry Mandip and Jodie have in real life, I changed my mind. It's not unusual to see them hold hands and cuddle when they appear together in public. They are so genuinely delighted to be around the other, grinning from ear to ear and laugh and just genuinely light up together. All the small gestures, glances, hesitations, touches, expressions, vocal tones, etc which these two were able to sneak in for us during this final episode meant so damn much to me. I haven't seen body language express this amount of love, longing, care, respect, and friendship since the last episode two episodes of Xena, just this iceberg of subtext. 💔 Yaz is bold yet socially reserved and introverted and 13 is this warm ray of sunshine. So, we have the finale and a couple specials left then 13 and yaz are gone , we will never see them again and it's gonna hurt. But I hope and pray that even when we lose them that we all still hold the ship close to our hearts , remember when we were the leading face of the fandom . Remember what we have done and how far it's all come. I hope we keep writing our stories , making our fanart , never letting this ship and the characters die. But whatever happens, thank you alp for being absolutely fantastic it's been a bloody wild ride
