One of my family friends tried to make me watch IPKKND, I declined, because I had experienced Indian soaps and they were not my cuppa tea.

But then two of my closest friends started raving about it. I was curious, so I decided to read it. I mean, I didn`t have time in my busy life to watch a show with 300 episodes. But when I started reading it, it said how Arnav is irritated at himself when he continues to think about Khushi and I was like I meed visuals people! so I watched a couple of scenes and when I arrived to Teej and read that Khushi and Arnav are stunned to see each other in the temple. Arnav helps Khushi when she faints due to exhaustion, I was like  I GOTTA SEE THIS, AND THE DAMN EPISODE ENDED ON A CLIFFHANGER.

So I had to keep watching until I became a full blown obsessive fan. The chemistry, the emotion, the fact that it didn`t have ridiculous Saas-Bahu drama or rivalries was so refreshing and I could not stop watching this amazingness. It was funny, it was romantic, it was interesting and it was real.

Sadly I started watching it at the start of November 2012. And you all know what happened. It ended. Though I would have had a hard time adjusting with Barun`s absence, the show was too good to end. Oh well.

The fact remains that IPKKND was amazing. It helped me through a time in my life where I was struggling to see if there was a point to anything. I was sad, miserable and more than a bit depressed and IPKKND with it`s bubbly Khushi and charming NK and hilarious Buaji and Mamiji made me laugh out loud. 

And you should never forget something that makes you smile. Which is why no matter how many people bash IPKKND or make fun of it, it will always hold a special place in my heart.

To all you Quboolians out there, please don`t roll your eyes or judge me. I watch Qubool Hai too, but this is like friends. Your old friends always hold a special place in your heart, but that doesn`t mean you like the new ones any less.
