We're sure someone else is doing this, but this is the first rye we've seen get this killer treatment. PORT RYE: We love port finished scotch and bourbon, so we had no doubts going into this port finished rye. We weren't wrong. The longer you sit with it, the better it gets. OAXACA RYE: Rye finished in Mezcal barrels from Oaxaca Mexico - what an idea! We sipped this repeatedly, trying to pinpoint what the heck is going on. It's super interesting and oddly satisfying. KILTED RYE: As superfans of peated scotch, we were very interested to see how peat and rye get along. The first sip was a nervous hand shake. The second was like recognizing a friend from across a crowded room. The third was a boisterous hug. Again, sitting with this expression really makes it unfold. Do yourself a favor and visit Wigle.
