Never Really Over + Perciver ?

This song went onto the playlist for the Perciver epic, which I actually amĀ going to write at some point, so no summary of that one here.
So, anotherĀ fic to this song.
The first paragraph goes like this.
On paper, they were a terrible couple. Percy Weasley was quite sure of this--heād written it out. There were tables. Spreadsheets. The traits that made up Percyās ideal partner, and the ones that inexplicably drew him to Oliver Wood, constituted a non-overlapping Venn diagram.
I think it needs to be a Muggle AU, because the fic is Percy on a series of e-Harmony dates with people who Share His Interests and Share His Values and are therefore a good match for him on paper. And are profoundly boring.
Interspersed with running into Oliver--again--and going out for drinks and catching up and actually having an interesting conversationĀ andĀ somehow (howād that happen?) waking up together the next day.
Basically the entireĀ plot is Percy coming to the realization that itās okay to just, like who he likes, and that Sometimes, Spreadsheets Are Wrong.
(And then the third act is Percy convincing Oliver that yes, he finallyĀ figured that out, and yes, he means an actualĀ date.)
