Echo:

Well, right from the first meeting Echo was up front with his yandere actions. He’s an extremely blatant man. He confessed to on their “first” meeting, he follows her around like a lost puppy, Stalking, putting up a shrine of Onyx, taking “a mile from an inch” for every action Onyx does, extremely aggressive towards Onyx’s group, and listened to Onyx as if she was the god(dess) in their dynamic. I can go on about His creeper actions. But if we’re talking about the yandere snap, he has a surprisingly long fuse with it. Most likely to do with how patient Onyx is that he doesn’t really have a chance to lose his temper. And as he grows more as a person and gain confidence in Onyx, he kinda loses his drive on snapping on a person since he knows that they aren’t worth it. Most of his snaps do occur when Onyx is being a particular pain though and when she tries to push him a way. His other snaps are during when he has low confidence and wonder if he’s a danger to Onyx. Very much middle to later half of the story.

Onyx:

Unlike Echo, Onyx is not at all blatant with her actions and a very much reserved woman. The thing about her is that she already went through a drastic character development that the readers wouldn’t know about till far later into the story. So she already went through her “yandere phase” and became more chill about it. Well, as “chill” as a person could be with a gun to their head. Onyx fully understands her situation and the predicament she would put Echo in if she indulges in the relationship.Though there’s simply just times she can’t help it and want Echo to be by her side 24/7.... which he’s more than eager to give. It’s actions like these that look normal, like Onyx taking Echo out for training or enforcing her control over him when really it’s just her satisfying her craving. As for creeper actions, Echo satisfy both of them for it. Though Onyx sometimes like to tease him when he isn’t looking. Between the two of them, Onyx is the better stalker and having a secret compartment on where she keeps her prize possessions. Sometimes she just counters Echo and the biggest thing is when she watches him sleep right after he watched her.

In the way of yandere snap, it’s just like Echo. It’s a long fuse that really is only affected when Echo (or someone else... like Echo’s mother) is testing her resolve or patients. Though there are times when it’s a self induced snap where Onyx realized that she fucked up and might have really hurt Echo this time. Their snaps are rather reflective of each other. 

V- Version: Would they do anything different from the classic yandere?

Echo: 

Oh boy. Yandere actions wise, he has the same creeper actions as a classic yandere. But what differentiate him from most classic yandere is that he is a dynamic character and not static. He’s not just “stuck” in this constant state and doesn’t learn his lesson. He grows as a person and realize that maybe he’s wrong. Another big thing is that he has friends, other responsibilities that he handles, and not some creep who lives in his mother’s basement. He’s also very heroic in a sense, which is different since most classic yanderes are villains. And of course, he will have a happy ending. 

Onyx:

Again, just like Echo, Onyx’s earlier actions may have been seen as “classic yandere” but she long grew out of it. What more she’s a hybrid yandere, so... not very classical. Just like Echo, she has friends, responsibilities, and a functioning member of society. She’s is remarkably heroic as well and use her “yandere-ness” to do good. She’s a dynamic character as well. Just because she had a character development before the start of the story doesn’t mean she can’t have one again at the end. And of course, happy ending. Oh! And the fact that Echo and Onyx are a yandere X yandere pairing is very different. 

W-Wild Card, a random yandere headcannon.

Echo:

So... random headcannon: When first joining Onyx’s group, Echo found out that they cycle through chores throughout the week. When it was the first time Echo was on cooking duty, he wanted to make a “special” dish for Onyx. Now, don’t mistaken Echo. He’s not a bad chief... usually. But he wanted to put a little bit of himself in Onyx’s favorite curry. Prior, he used to put some of his saliva in her drinks, so he just thought to up the anti by adding some of his blood in an already red dish. What he didn’t realize was that.... a god’s blood is the fountain of life... oops. 

So the curry turned into a curry monster, causing Echo to panic and cover the pot. It was shaking madly inside and Echo didn’t even have a chance to get rid of it before Onyx and Shane (one of the group members and Echo’s future BFF) came into the kitchen. Onyx and Shane saw the mess and immediately knew what happened, yet Onyx decided to play dumb and pretend that Echo didn’t add his blood for a dish she was suppose to eat. Finding it to be a waste of food but also extremely touched by Echo’s action, Onyx took a knife and killed the curry monster before eating the entire dish from the pot. 

Echo and Shane were horrified by this and Onyx nearly died from the stomach cramp. Yet the two grew closer. Echo realized that Onyx is such a good person while Onyx realized that Echo is good meaning but need to be taught a lesson. Shane on the other hand realized that his boss and the future king of gods are a bunch of morons. 

Onyx:

Onyx loves to tease Echo. She just loves it. It’s like messing with your pet dog before giving them a little chase. While Echo may think he has Onyx in the palm of his hand, in reality, it’s the other way around. Most of the time, Echo would flirt with Onyx and she would leave flustered. Yet sometimes she likes to counter attack and cause Echo to be bewildered. It became a game of cat and mouse where Onyx hints that she really does like Echo but then she takes so many steps backwards. Here’s a bunch of TL;DR scenarios Onyx likes to do to Echo:

Echo: Hrm… why is it that every time I picture our wedding, you’re the one wearing the suit while I’m the one wearing the dress?

Onyx: If it bothers you that much, I don’t mind wearing the dress when the time comes?

Echo: Thank- WAIT! WERE YOU PLANNING ON ME WEARING THE DRESS ALL ALONG?!

Onyx: *runs in* Hey, you want to do a food run with me?!

Echo: *jumps up* Onyx! You nearly gave me a heart attack!

Onyx: ?

Echo: Don’t just come into a guys room without knocking!

Onyx: But it’s you?

Echo: DON’T LOOK AT ME LIKE I’M NOT A GUY!

Onyx: *ignore*

Echo: *Staaaare*

Onyx: *smack Echo’s face*

Echo: Ow! Why?!

Onyx: *Ignore*

Shane: It’s like… observing two cats in the wild…

Echo: Why did you take out your tracking device from your phone? You weren’t meeting with anyone, were you?

Onyx: … I was- I met up with Santa to talk about your Christmas gifts.

Echo: :0 Santa?!

Shane: She’s obviously joking! You’re a god, for fuck sake!

Onyx: Echo, I love…

Echo: *holding his breath*

Onyx: The way you cook this curry. Can you make it again for me?

Echo: :( Okay….
