- I feel like you would meet Malcom at a crime scene. Whether you worked there or you were at witness, he was instantly drawn to you

- He would try to impress you on the first date, I feel like with his mother’s influence he would take you to an expensive restaurant and walk through Central Park

- It wouldn’t take long before you two start dating would he have to tell you some of his traumas and mental illnesses. He can’t hide the fact he’s been traumatized for most of his life. 

- You take it in stride, some people are more “broken” than others

- He starts telling you about his job and tells you stories about all sorts of famous serial killers you probably have never heard of

- His love languages are words of affirmation and quality time. He loves to be told you’re proud of him and will shower you in loving words any chance he gets

- Loves to spend time with you at the apartment with Sunny, watching trash tv and eating popcorn, wanting a distraction from all the other things in his life

- Having to make food for him sometimes when he tells you he forgot to eat that day, bc the man is such a disaster that essential things like food and sleep are forgotten

- Having to have a conversation about the restraints on his bed because he’s worried he’ll hurt you during a night terror

- Meeting his mother and while she is very protective of her children, she’s just happy he has someone to look after him while he’s trying to protect everyone else

- Him wanting to shield you from his father’s atrocious crimes

- Meeting the team, instantly bonding with them over Malcom’s insanity and joking with them that he has no self-preservation

- Awkward family dinners at the Whitly’s with a tense atmosphere due to some family drama he chose not to tell you to “protect you”
