Yesterday someone was murdered a block away from my job, I heard the three gunshots and thought someone was playing a prank until I started hearing the screaming.
It was a 26- year old man who also lived a block away from here, only in the opposite direction, apparently he got in a fight with someone he shouldn’t have, and because of that got shot three times in the face, something I saw with my own eyes because curiosity got the better of me.
Third time in my life I see a murder victim that up close, first time was back in 2001 when I witnessed the aftermath of a car robbery gone wrong.
I can never get over just how much blood there is, and how dark it looks…
