For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21

I’m nothing more than any of you. I struggle in my weaknesses, I have sinned against a loving Father. I have lots of mistakes, and my past isn’t a good story to tell, just like everybody else.

But Jesus, who knew no sin, was punished like a criminal so that I could live my life in freedom. Today I say, I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. No sin, no shame, no past, no pain, no guilt, can separate me from God’s love. I am free. I am accepted. I am loved. I am changed.

Indeed! “Cause sometimes we find talking to Him about things formally. Like you have to be this and that because you’re talking to the Almighty and all that sort of stuff. We tend to HIDE what’s really in our hearts (and in case you’ve forgotten, He sees, knows and hears even the smallest sound we make and even those words we haven’t spoke of yet [Psalms 139:4]) But did you know that He preferred seeing, hearing and talking to you as you are? I mean if you’re really in pain then don’t hesitate to show Him or tell Him that you’re really hurting and you need His comfort. Or if you’re confuse and all that, tell Him that you need Him. Weak? Ask Him for strength. Don’t be afraid to tell your Father your concerns or struggles. God is NOT a complicated God! Ask, speak, cry onto Him whatever it is that you’re currently in. Rest assure that He hears you. He will NEVER judge you for whatever it is that you’re showing Him. He may have known everything you are thinking of or your desires or your situations, your troubles, doubts, fears, or what you might be in need of and all, but He finds pleasure whenever you confess them all to Him. ANYTHING. Pray to Him of ANY thing! You have to “get to the heart of the matter. No, it’s NOT about you being in doubt or in fear. But it is about you being REAL to your Father. Prayer is the language of the heart.” (paraphrased from Ptr. Regina Webber)

Let’s be OPEN-MINDED here for I know this is quite a sensitive issue. So tell me and DON’T get wrong for asking this, when and where did Jesus said “I came here to make a ‘RELIGION’ and this particular ‘religion’ is the ONLY ‘religion’ that I WILL SAVE”?

I, for one, see “religion” as a DIVIDER. People persecute other person just because of what religion this person is in. To state MY OWN opinion, it’s NEVER about religion. NEVER WAS. NEVER WILL. Jesus didn’t die on the cross just to save a few from a particular religion. C’mon! HE DIED ON THE CROSS TO SAVE US ALL and to pay EVERY SINS (we –that includes YOURS) committed from the past, in the present, and in the future. But His grace is NOT our ticket to do whatever we wanted to (worldly desires) or to run and sin again. NO. PLEASE read Romans 6:1-23 and let me quote few of what’s in it. “13 Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness. 14 For sin shall NO longer be your master, because you are NOT under the law, but UNDER GRACE.” AMEN! Halleluia! Jesus wanted to build a RELATIONSHIP –INTIMATE relationship with you. Nothing more. Nothing less. Just you and Him. Repent and receive Him as your Lord and Savior and you will be saved. No other “requirement/s”. No need to do something great or to offer something huge just so you can claim salvation. Romans 3:23, “for ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” but rejoice! For “there is therefore now NO condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1) and “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God” (Ephesians 2:8) and with this 2 Corinthians 5:17 says “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here”. AMEN!! ☺

So okay, I’m not a good preacher. I know I missed a lot of points here. But again, I’m not a good preacher. Nor I’m telling you that I’m all holy and all that. I’m a sinner. Recieved Jesus as my personal Savior and Lord. Saved by grace. Serving and living for God. NO RELIGION (not even preaching one). Just trying, with all that I can with the help of the Bible and the Holy Spirit, to preach Jesus. #blessedtobeablessing!
