What a day! Today we helped the York family move into their new home, after finding themselves homeless living out of their car just a few weeks ago. Helping Sherly and her three children move into the housing that @PATHpartners helped them secure was such a good reminder of how one small act of kindness can be a life changing experience looking at things from the other side. Thanks Ash for making this part of the heavy lifting we get to do over at @thealist.us. In just my third week, I've learned so much from this team not just about how to be a better worker, but also how to be a better human. It's ironic but, like Sherly and her fam, I too find myself in a new place I can excitedly call home now. #makingithome
