I have changed George around a bit yesterday, I am loving how he looks now, I made his shoulders and biceps one piece and it works better now imo.

George with his first resin casting! There's flaws but I've learned a LOT and I think it's pretty good for my first go! I'm getting a Dremel in a couple weeks for my birthday, I have the second prototype cast and I just want to sand and perfect all the pieces!

Learning from this, I thought the hardest part to sculpt are the eyes and nose, surprisingly, its the mouth/lips. It tooked me 2 days to figure out how to sculpt the lips, then I remember that I have a set of cake sculpting tool, it was a life saver.

Its too expensive so I m try to make my own bjd. Head is ok but body is big problem to me. Can you post some male body picture? I really need some. I search on Google and find few photo.but its not enough! So.. Please! :)

I bought some clay yesterday and since I haven't sculpted a person in forever I decided to sculpt a Garnet head and maybe a body if I feel like it. I have the plans for it, a picture taken from 2 hours after sculpting and three pictures taken after doing some rough sanding. I'm obviously not the best at sculpting and I haven't sculpted in a while so I'm sort of rusty but if this turns out good enough maybe I'll cast it for myself and some friends and make myself some Steven Universe dolls.
