A work in progress. I’m not really sure what’s going on. But I like it! I had an idea in my head originally, but this is literally NOTHING like what I had planned! And that’s ok. I’m curious to see how it ends up. What I’ve loved with this experiment though is that when I got to that moment where I thought, “Oh… I shouldn’t have done that…”, there was a time where I would’ve been devastated that I’d ruined the page. I’ve ruined my whole journal and would have immediately wanted to tear the page out. But I stopped. I actually thought to myself, “It’s fine. I’ll just fix it later” and went out for a few hours. When I got home, I added something else to and I didn’t like it again. So, I walked away and worked on a different project. Even my daughter looked at it and said “I dunno what you’re going to do with that!” After leaving it for a while, I decided to add the black ink leafy design and a whole new idea popped into my head.
