Stuff I don't understand #54981: All Butter Croissants
It's not all butter though is it? Granted there is butter involved, but several other ingredients come into play. If it was all butter... then it would be that. Butter. Nowt else.
Google all-butter croissant and the first thing is a link to a recipe for croissants that says “typical ingredients include wheat flour, water, milk, yeast, salt, sugar, butter and egg.” LOOK. MANY OTHER THINGS TO MAKE THE CROISSANT.
If it was a butter croissant, it would be butter in the shape of a croissant. A quite simply preposterous idea. Imagine trying to spread jam on that. It would just simply become a mess of butter and jam. Nothing else, because it says it's all-butter, and a total and complete waste of time (potentially hours depending on what detail you wish to go into) making what was effectively a sculpture of a croissant out of a dairy product.
STOP THIS F***ING MADNESS.
