#make them talk

In my mind, the relationship between Midas and Reo is a strained one.

They dont hate each other, but they're also not exactly happy to see the other and would avoid each other where they can, or not make a lot of conversation with each other.

Canonically, they've probably only interacted for like... 5 minutes (and Reo doesnt even remember it), but a lot can happen in 5 minutes...

(At least to my interpretation) Reo just wanted out of the Worldport and to go home, wanting nothing more to do with the multiverse or Quixis, and couldnt really give a shit about Midas.

From Midas' pov, this guy just dumped the responsibility of everything onto them without so much as a 'hello', let alone even a hint of what exactly to do and left them alone to figure it out.

So yeah, they dont get along great.

Which is why whenever I find out any kind of similarities they have, even small ones like: Both are axe weapon weilders, both have "earrings" as their favourite accessory, and the fact that they're "world neighbours" now (Q56 and Magenta are across from each other), just scratches my brain very nicely.

“ Tch-... ” It was a displeased noise that Noctis kept repeating in different variations almost everytime he’s pulling back his fishing line.

He was sitting at the end of the dock by Galdin Quay, legs hanging over the water’s surface as the prince tried to lure in something for dinner, even thought it’s midnight at this point already.

Prompto had joined him around an hour ago, mostly just sitting beside him while playing games on his phone. The other’s might’ve eaten something else for dinner at this point, but Noct wouldn’t give up.

“ Nothing’s biting today... “, he stated just a few minutes later. He was glancing at Prompto a few times but it didn’t seem like he was really caring about Noct’s doing.
