I realize you thought I was like all the rest and would be okay being just an option for you.

Not even close.

I know my worth and I’ll never settle for anything less than what I want.

I deserve the best from anyone in my life, because that’s what I give- my all...

And that’s exactly what I deserve..everything.

I don’t love small and I don’t believe in halfway anything-

Passion, love or happiness.

Life’s too short for me to accept less what I’m worth.

So, please save the maybes, possibles and second thoughts for someone else,

I’m not okay with playing games.

I may be too intense and strong willed for some, but those aren’t my people.

Give me the dreamers, the lovers and the strong willed warriors- they’re the ones I’ll go through the fire for.

So, if you don’t know what you want or have to think about my importance,

Then let’s part ways as friends.

It’s not fair to either of us to try to make something work that was never meant to be.

I learned a long time ago to accept that things have a way of working out if you respect yourself, others and destiny.

So, if you want to hold my hand through the storms, dance in the rain and chase your dreams with me at your side,

Then let’s go find some adventures.

Rise or fall, rain or shine,

Let’s love hard when there’s love to be had.

The choice is up to us if we are meant to be just a chapter or perhaps, a happily ever after.

Forever doesn’t accept maybes,

And neither will I.

So as an Australian I find that the cost of living is excruciating enough as it is. Until once a month for most females we get hit by an onslaught of pain and agony awaiting the painkillers to kick in and the swathe of costs associated with maintaining female hygiene. In Australia though we are also slogged with tax for said female hygiene products and continually shamed for what our bodies do naturally.

I am calling all Australians to join in, and even non-Australians to help spread the word, in the petition that is currently being run through the Parliament of Australia to revoke the luxury tax on female hygiene products.

Would you consider bleeding every month to be a luxury?
