& still pretty freaked out from the storm. my boss triggered a panic attack while herding us down into the bomb shelter in the basement. with his voice laced with panic while shouting "Lets go, lets go! Move It! Basement Now!" i mean i understand half of the highschool age guys that were working think their invincible but none of us are. All i could think of was Joplin & how much destruction there would be if a tornado like that hit here. not to mention the fuckers on the radio trying to scare the listeners. at one point they were saying that one was about to drop down near Cloud & Ohio, that intersection is literally 2 buildings away from where my girlfriend , Cass (majoradhd), was at work, whit no basement to retreet to & a handfull of special pops gentlemen to take care of. I was absolutely terrified.   them my boss sends us all back up to the store with the sirens still going off claiming it's all clear. i was so fucking pannicky all i wanted was to go home. but i was stuck there standing at a register for the next two hours, with the whole front of the store made of fucking plateglass windows.
