ahaha i skimmed songmaster, yeah. i don't like the idea of my 'theory'-- it's really more of a feeling than a theory honestly-- being 'validated'? idk i hate 'spot the x' games. all i'll say is that his writing on homosexuality is always a little weird and not what i was expecting. the moral of the story is always 'just stay closeted and don't sleep with men' (see: zdorab) rather than 'YOU ARE SCUM'. which doesn't make it better, and i'm not saying that, but i generally think a nuanced opinion is best where possible, even if it doesn't change the outcome of my actions or lack thereof.
