rather lengthy reply under the cut
goodness this isn't the reply i was bracing myself for getting, haha. you are a really kind person!!! also the review that has the most information on the whole subject is here if you want to look at it, it's pretty exhaustive detail wise (which is why it's such compelling evidence against the shop) and then there are around 100 comments supporting her claims on the review, each with stories of their own! lots of allegations of rude behavior, poor craftsmanship, AND overblown prices on top of that is just too much. feel free to check out the reviews yourself though, i don't expect anyone to just believe someone random on the internet, so your discomfort was warranted!!! i feel that way any time people throw around allegations on here without showing why they think/feel that way.Â
about your shop though! because that's the fun and important part :3
first off, your shop looks cute and has a very cute name, and i feel like the items in it are desirable and for the most part go well together! i like that you're mixing wholesale items with items that you've handmade, and i'd like to see more items from  you in general, as well as more pictures! it's a good practice to have at least 2 pictures for an item if not more. i like to have two views of the item itself (a detail shot and an overall shot), and maybe a third if there's a special feature (like showing the backing of a clip, for example), and then a picture of the item being worn. it's a simple thing that really pumps up the reliability and desirability of your item listings. also if you sell wholesale, taking your own photos always makes your store seem more legitimate than others, which is a good feeling.Â
if i were you i would take the calculator and crutch off of the store though and put them in ebay listings instead, for two reasons. the first one is that it doesn't really match any of your other store items and is a little odd/distracting, and the second reason is that you'd have way better luck that way! people looking for used items automatically go to ebay, storenvy isn't very well known among the audience of people who would normally be looking for a crutch or a calculator and you'd just be more successful there.Â
aside from that just a few nitpicky things--try to have a transparent logo on your items as it just looks much nicer, adjust the lighting of your photos to be a little brighter so we can see more, fix the links on your blog's navigation so it's easier to get to your shop (this is a really common problem tumblr has with offsite redirects so it's not your fault but it is fixable) and if you're not doing it already, start plugging yourself as much as possible via tumblr! because it works!
hopefully some of that was helpful and if you have questions feel free to shoot me a message. also if you want me to take this down then i can do that too, this was just the easiest way to reply and not have to worry about a character limit. <3Â
