Happy International Lolita Day! I wore Angelic Pretty's Magic Princess ~ No shoes though, since I was in someone else's house. I twinned with my friend!
Saturday coordinate for KaiCon this weekend just past. I was craving something sickly sweet.
It’s almost been a year, and there’s still an empty space in me that I haven’t been able to fill. I still miss her. Her non-stop talking throughout the day was the best part of my life. She never made me feel like I was asking for too much, or that I needed to be someone I’m not. She made me feel seen.
And it was so easy to talk to her about anything. Things I never thought I could say out loud just spilled out when she was around. There was no fear of being judged, no second-guessing myself. I could talk to her about my worst days, my weird thoughts, my random dreams, and she'd just listen like it all mattered. Like I mattered.
That kind of ease? It's rare. Conversations with her felt like warm sunlight on a cold morning effortless, healing. She didn’t just hear my words; she understood the silences between them too.
It’s strange how silence feels louder now. Like every quiet moment echoes her absence. I find myself remembering the smallest things-her laughter at the most random times, the comfort of knowing someone was always there, even if we weren’t speaking.
She had this way of making everything feel less heavy. Like my thoughts weren’t too much, like I wasn’t too much. With her, I didn’t have to shrink myself. I could just be. And now, without her, even breathing feels a bit off. Like I’m here, but not fully. Like something is always missing.
Maybe I am to blame. Maybe I held on too tightly, or not enough. Maybe I pushed her away in ways I didn’t notice until it was too late. Or maybe we were just two people who found peace in each other, but not a future. Still, she’s the only one who ever saw me without filters, without layers, and loved me anyway.

I’ve rewatched “Star VS The Forces of Evil” episodes 5-6 season 1. In the first episode, we finally get to see some Mewni (Spoilers!) Star decides to give Marco’s parents a trip to her motherland for their anniversary – we see two sides of Mewni – a huge wealth gap and dangerous magical stuff – carnivorous plants, dragons and so on. We also meet Star’s father – who likes to fight monsters in his spare time (this trait Star inherited from him). The other part of the episode is about Brittney’s (the most popular and rich girl in the school) birthday party, which Star almost ruins, but everybody except Brittney herself, Marco and Ludo, who also was there liked it. The first part of the next episode reveals to us one the very important parts of the series – Star’s butterfly form (maybe a spoiler to further seasons, maybe not) – if I do recall this correctly it’s going to important in explaining Star and her family magical powers. Well, on the most it’s just full of jokes about being boys-crazy. And they also showed us Glossaryck (a little genie living in the book of spells). The last part is pretty funny – it shows us one more part of the huge magical world - Pixtopia. Little fairies, cruelty, forced work.
