caelan’s NOT convinced- how could she be when she knows what jimmy’s been like lately. god, she never imagined herself being so INVESTED in the drama of a freak show, but each time she visited, maggie kept her coming back. just to see her once more, a lie that caelan kept telling herself, one that didn’t last very long at all. 

     wish fulfillment; it drew elizabeth to the strangest of places. perhaps BIZARRE was precisely what she now needed, though --- she’d taken herself to a freakshow. places like this were ones she knew only from reading her books, and they seemed fitting to her, in a way; a truly freakish thing, abnormal as she was, could even belong somewhere like this.

     she approached with curiosity, a runaway from a home so very far away, & she wandered, until she found herself encountering someone else. bright blue eyes fell upon another female -- pretty, young, couldn’t have been much older than herself -- and elizabeth paused, staring briefly before her eyebrows raised and she spoke a greeting. her tone was amiable, if not somewhat cautious.

     “ oh --- hello there, miss-! i’m not intruding on your home, am i? this place really is fascinating. ”

❝ Don’t worry, it’s kosher! ❞

here they are AGAIN. the blonde’s in her arms, crying over something else that jimmy’s done to her, wasting tears on someone that couldn’t love her anywhere near as much as caelan does. there’s a sigh from the brunette, her arms tightening ever so slightly around maggie and slowly bringing her head down, to tuck her friend’s head into her neck. she shouldn’t be doing this. she shouldn’t be pushing this further, not without coming clean about the reasons she’s always here- the reason that she’s been at this freak show every day for the past six months.
