gramens liked for a starter!!
It was the usual optimism she held that shone through, even if the situation she was in was fairly dark. But it was that darkness that made her feel like she needed to hold even more optimism. So far as she had been in the city, she'd had an easier time of things. Everything slowed down to something vaguely resembling a normal life where she wasn't being controlled or having to save multiple worlds and sessions.
The city generally wasn't a place she grew up in, residing alone on an island somewhere in the pacific with her dog. It was hard navigating a weird crowded city. It was hard and no one understood. Still, she managed and found herself some breathing room in Sector six. The greenery of the parks reminded her more of home and the weather reminded her more of frog hunting in her game's session. And though it wasn't exactly the best time to think about gardening, she still managed to stumble upon some tools left over by someone. She wasn't sure who, but she thought perhaps using them wouldn't make the owner mad. So there she was, happily tending to a few plants and flowers like she used to. And it was probably the most calm and happy moment she had had in a long while. Until she heard footsteps.
Her sensitive dog ears picked up the noise before any human ears could, twitching and pointing backwards in search of the sound before she turned to look at who was there.
"Uh...hello! I was just looking at these flowers and maybe messing with them a bit. Gardening is one of my hobbies...but, I hope I was not stepping on anyone's toes? I don't really know the rules of this city quite yet...I am new."
