(MAG102) ARCHIVIST: A month, Elias. And you did what, nothing? […] And imagine what might have happened if your rescue had been slower. ELIAS: Sarcasm isn’t going to help, Jon. ARCHIVIST: The only thing here that “isn’t going to help” is you. […] Fine. At least we now know you’re of zero practical use here. So aside from sending me other people’s statements, what can you actually do to help?

(MAG105) XIAOLING: … How long did you say you have been Archivist? ARCHIVIST: Uh… About two years now. XIAOLING: Well, Elias made a good choice. I did offer him someone, but he thought the language might be too much for him.

(MAG107) ARCHIVIST: What irritates me most is that Elias was clearly aware of this, hence his sending me this. Which seems to serve no other purpose but as a restorative. But as usual… he chose to keep this very useful information to himself.

(MAG108) PETER: Oh. That doesn’t sound like the Elias I know. He killed people himself? […] Elias Bouchard, getting his hands dirty. Well-well. Must be the End Times.

(MAG117) ARCHIVIST: […] Elias seems pretty insistent I go along. Part of me thinks it’s just so we can see if whatever this… preparation he’s been trying to do on me works. And you know what? That same… petty little part of me… rather hopes it doesn’t; that all this time, all his… cryptic nudges and “learn to fly by falling” attitude ends up being a complete waste of time. Just to show him.

- Glad he’s cleared and everything but that makes Basira’s reaction to Tim thinking theyre dating even funnier

- I desperately need a scene where Jonathan has to explain that Basira thought he was a murderer to the rest of the team and Tim’s like “she was sleeping with you because she thought you were a murderer??? Thats messed up!” And the rest of the team lose it and are like “YOU WERE SLEEPING TOGETHER???” And Jonathan has to be like “NO no no no-“ It wont happen. But i need it.

- Actually okay. Of course the tea hater is Mary Key. I shouldve picked up on the red flag.

- Okay… so Leitner collected the books, he didnt… write or create them or anything. Interesting!

- Hmm, they dont remember what they called the books before Leitner collected them… I wonder if thats relevant?

- Fjdjshshs the criticism of the Leitner. Boring and unimpressive, okay.

- Interesting! Elias thinks that the institute is on the opposite side of the people collecting Leitner books, which makes sense since they think the books are dangerous and need to be destroyed, but Mary disagrees. Maybe because theyre both collections of information on the paranormal?

- Mary Key’s mother worked at the archive???

- The Key family is watched over by… something?? (The same something watching over the institute, which may or may not be related to the eye?)

- So she’s been creating the Leitner books? Or at least some of them??

- She serves ‘the end’… is that The End? A contained entity? But also she doesnt just serve that one she interacts with multiple of them, which i think makes sense because the books do multiple things.

- I wonder if she read the page and whoever was summoned was the one that shot her.
