The episode specifically refers to Andre Ramao's marriage licence, "signed, dated, and official," confirming that he and his husband were officially married, not in a civil partnership or otherwise choosing to refer to each other as "husband".
Therefore, I conclude, either Andre or his husband was trans and so the homophobic vase that stole Andre's husband was also transphobic.
