Maddi talks less in riddles and acts much more grounded and serious when she’s completely alone with Cerise.

Cerise absolutely loves it when Madeline scratches behind her ears.

Maddi built a secret, hidden room inside her Tea Shop specifically for Cerise, because during a full moon, Hood loses control of herself. (Maddi actually has a few scars from it, because turning your back on a wolf is never a good idea).

Cerise finds it incredibly endearing how Madeline stands on her tiptoes just to try and kiss her.

Cerise loves listening to Maddie's voice, it calms her down.

When Hatter was a kid, she ate some Wonderland wolfberries. Everything is messed up there, so now she’s half-wolf: her pupils constrict and her nails turn into claws. The effect became permanent because she was sick at the time, and her dad gave her a medicine fixer to speed up her recovery. It locked the effect in—though she spent the whole damn night puking her guts out after."

Cerise is actually the one who taught Maddi how to swear and insult people properly.

The only people who know about their relationship are Cedar Wood, Kitty Cheshire, and Raven Queen.
