I donât really do glamorous photographs since Iâm always in the thick of things. But here you will see further progress on the salvaged painted newel post. I worked in some color dyes and shellac. There was need to hide some defects and to make appear like walnut as well. Since the piece is made from mahogany I had to kill all that red and add a little green. Overall Iâm happy with the progress.
