Recently in college, Andrew Dobbie visited and gave a talk on how he developed his own business from the bottom and ways that we as aspiring Photographer’s can get our name out in the industry. This was very beneficial to me as I now have some skills and possible contacts for enquiries such as styles and pricing. This has also encouraged me to get out and start gathering some paid commissions for myself as he explained how this can be done.

Notes from today’s inspirational talk from the founder, Andrew Dobbie of Made Brave Graphic Design company based in Glasgow. This talk made me realise that there is more scope out there for photographers than I thought. The insight into his company was refreshing and it sounds like it would be an exciting and fast paced place to work. I love the look and feel of their office space.
