I've not watched the episode for a long time, but it is my recollection that she had herself sent there in the sarcophagus
except at the beginning of the episode an airman said that “a person was just arrested at the mountain surface for attempting an unauthorized entrance”

I grew up in a family with a dad who liked to tell everyone he hadn't seen in a while how fat they'd gotten, and an overweight mom who was appalled by that habit of his, who taught me and my brother that you DO NOT COMMENT ON OTHER PEOPLE'S BODIES. I get a little hot under the collar about it. :-)
