i lay awake in bed thinking why soldats and engineers have hemolymph instead of normal blood. Could it be that auditor wanted the breathing process to be streamlined entirely to a whole new system (a composition of tubes that oxygenizes the cells) for some sort of better result? Do soldats and engineers have an easier time breathing? do they have a higher heart rate. Do they HAVE a heart? technically if the oxygen receiving process was streamlined through little tubes going through the whole body then they wouldnt have a need for a heart, which implies that they have something else instead, most likely another type of a "heart" that being an organ that instead of oxygenizing the blood, fills it full of nutrients to be shipped out to the body (aka making blood plasma?). But why. My theory on why auditor approved of this is probably so that soldats and engineers dont run out of breath?? i guess that makes sense somewhat

also this prompts a whole new structure for piss blooded grunts, take this shitty as hell sketch for what i think they look like inside

also i figured they wouldnt have lungs either because their tracheaes would do the same work, i marked those as the yellowish tubes. to explain a bit: i think the + mark on the grunts could be repurposed to be a spiracle which is like your nose without the ability to draw in breaths and the tracheas are weird little tubes that performs gas exchange
